6th Annual Bollywood Bash

March 1 @ 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Bollywood Bash – a fundraiser for rescuing raising awareness and funds to help save women, children, adults trapped in the human trafficking industry. The benefactor this year is Sanctum House – sanctumhouse.org.

A fundraiser for victims/survivors of human trafficking – our 6th year and bringing people together creating awareness through culture because we are all Connected – We Are the World.

This is a charity fundraiser bringing together various dances and performances from different genres. We all will be working to raise funds for victims of Human Trafficking, supporting a local organization – Sanctum House (santumhouse.org). Over the past 5 years we have successfully brought together about 150 to 400 people in our effort to raise awareness regarding this issue, that menaces our society, including children, teens, adults and seniors.

Since this fundraiser is a collective effort, formed through a lot of people coming together, we are requesting help from you in this endeavor. We encourage you to share this event on your social media platforms, invite friends & family, etc. These events have been very well received with a mix of performances ranging from various countries around the world.

We strive to create a unique and inclusive environment which brings together diversified genres of dance and music…with various cultural groups to have a vibrant and exciting event. We would be more than willing to set up a meeting, if needed, to tell you a little more and see if we can partner together for a good cause.

SANCTUM HOUSE: Human trafficking is a global issue. The women that we serve come from our local communities, as well as through our connections nationally. When we opened Sanctum House on February 12, 2018, after 5 years of research and development, we became the first facility of its kind in southeastern Michigan.  We offer treatment for up to 12 women utilizing protocol that is trauma informed and resident centered. Given that we are a drug free environment, and most of our residents come to us with addiction issues, our therapeutic vantage point is one of the dual diagnosis of trauma and drug addiction. The organizations that we partner with assist us in offering our residents exceptional care in all arenas.
